Special Order Medications may require additional time for completion.Calls made after noon will be processed one day later.Call in by noon on Friday, and it will be ready for pickup in the afternoon on Tuesday.Call in before noon on Monday, and it will be ready for pickup before noon on Thursday.Due to the large volume of refills, the refill turn-around time is 72 business hours.The Toll-Free number is 1-86 (print for future reference). Our current call-in refill system is a state-of-the-art computer system which interfaces directly with Moncrief’s MHS-Genesis system for prescription information. We have had an automated prescription call-in refill system for several years. Thank you for using our call-in service and we hope you find it enjoyable. Your use of this service will greatly reduce the waiting time at the Main Outpatient Pharmacy. Once called-in, prescriptions will be held for ten (10) days, as our storage space is limited. When calling in refills, the automated computer will answer the phone and walk you through the steps necessary to correctly refill your prescriptions. Refills from other military medical treatment facilities may be filled one time when possible based on drug availability as well. New prescriptions from other military medical treatment facilities, as well as civilian requests for medication will be filled when possible based on drug availability. Prescriptions may be called in 24 hours a day ((803) 751-2250). The pharmacy has an automated call-in refill prescription service for its users. The TMC is for active duty only, the PX site is for call-in refills only, and the Main Outpatient pharmacy is full-service for all beneficiaries. Starting June 1 st all non-controlled prescriptions must be sent electronically from your Doctor’s office. Our Pharmacy is one of the busiest in MEDCOM, filling over 60,000 prescriptions per month.Īll patients must contact us to activate all new or renewed Prescriptions.
